Look like this, when otherwise packed with people. Yes, Sweden is in lock-down too during this COVID-19, even when others say we’re not. It’s more about following guidelines instead of being forced. It’s your own choice, so I think people are more compliant.

We are driving a Volvo these days.Volvo for life, they say. And honestly, this is actually the best car I can image. It just ticks all the boxes for me on what a car is supposed to be like.

But…. we are only 2 months in. So we’ll see what it’s like in a year or so.

It’s part of the commuting life. You could turn in your bike to a bike shop and pay for it. But the bikes get abused so much during the dark time of the year by rain, mud, snow and ice.

The problem is that I don’t know all this stuff. But….. that’s where youtube comes in handy. 20 years ago you had to go as an apprentice during the weekends to learn all this. Now it’s all a click away. Some favorites:

And when you make a mistake, you just start all over. The advantage of having 2 bikes, I guess. Always one ready to bike with and one to tinker with….

What a Friday evening can look like. Waiting in the car for the oldest kid and her friends at Liseberg (amusement park in the city). When you are tired and just want to be in the sofa watching TV. But better get them safely home then sorry.

I think it was a Christmas present from Linda’s sister. Tickets to a Swedish House Mafia reunion tour in Stockholm. And surprise, surprise … it was better than I expected. The only thing is that you notice the band is a bit tired of playing their most famous songs. So they cane up with new versions of it. More visual and sound art than EDM. Which made the crowd just relax instead of keeping on dancing. Weird feeling. But an unforgettable weekend!
