I just have to get out and bike a bit every now and then to not go insane. It’s been 2,5 weeks now since I have been in the office. First week I was sick in bed myself, but now I have been working from home for the last 1,5 weeks. And I’m wondering when it will end.

And back to this. Not bad at all. Looks like spring is around the corner. If just the temperatures would go up
a bit more, all would be fine.

And no, we never see a sunset over the water from our place.

This one has been here for a few weeks now. And I am wondering when they gonne clean it. I don’t mind and I can imagine a lot of runners and dog-walkers don’t mind either. It’s those on their hordes. It is after all a horse trail. Even if I haven’t seen a horse on it in the 5 years I have been commuting along this path.

OK, I rarely swing by there in the evenings anymore, I have more fun trails to ride on than a gravel road. But in the mornings it’s perfect to warm up and don’t get too exhausted before work.

Yip, another one of Tuesday afternoon/evening. And actually a few minutes before previous photo. This is where I climb for about just over 10 minutes and take in the view, before I rush down in the open field and get into the forest again.

I mean, look at this!! Biking around in the forest and in the west you see this amazing light and colors. So lucky I can do this every day to get to work and back home.

PS: OK, I know…. this is not the best picture with that lamp, but it’s to give you an idea that you still need lights in the forest to see where to ride.

Last view of town for 2019

One from the last day of the 2019. We decided to go into town to watch the fireworks, because we haven’t done that in a long time with the kids. And why not make it a whole afternoon and go to the movies before??? Otherwise I don’t think they would have wanted to go into town.

The surprise was waiting for the bus to get home with apparently half of the neighborhood. Luckily we have a daughter who is 13 and travels a lot by bus and had the perfect plan B route. Even better than the original!!!

January with all its boring weather. But, you try to make the most of it. It wasn’t bad at all. Almost no wind and just a bit of a drizzle in the air. No heavy rainfall.

The only thing I was really worried about was my tennis-elbow and how it would hold up. I knew that as long as I wouldn’t have too much pain on the fun sections, I would probably go for it and try to ignore the pain. So, it will be interesting to see how the elbow is behaving tomorrow.

No wind, crystal clear and a thin layer of ice on the lake. Pristine…

The kids had a week off. “Sportlov” as they say in Swedish. So I decided to take the Friday off as well and hit the ice.

Not a lot of people there. But looking at the thermometer, it was not surprising. +4C outside, meaning the ice was bad. Passing the puck required the effort level of a shot-on-goal.
