Brownies with Cheesecake

Too sick to have a party. But Milla didn’t mind. She had her share of attention already this week, she said. But Linda didn’t sleep much last night, so I was entertaining Zeb and Milla most of the morning while Linda slept. Put Zeb to bed at 10:00 for his morning nap and then….

I told Milla that we would bake anyway. Even if we don’t have a party, we might as well try to bake the cake just to be on the safe side for next weekend (when we will try to have the party again). What cake ??? Well…. its a brownie cheesecake with raspberries. I know, sounds a bit of a strange combination. But believe me, it’s not.

As you can see, I didn’t get the final nice outlook as Bruno did. And the reason is that I just made the top-layer of brownie dough and didn’t mix it with the cheesecake dough underneath:

But does it taste good !!! The only problem is that you have to wait with eating it at least a few hours. Brownies normally can be eaten when they are still warm. But cheesecake has to be cold. Preferably in the fridge for a while. So I had a dilemma. But I couldn’t resist……. But it didn’t taste like “WOW”. Wait a few hours and you will get your “WOW” !!!!
