As in “somebody is going to get really badly hurt if they keep going like this”. Crashing all over the place. It’s a miracle nobody broke anything on this ride or ended up in the hospital. Seriously the craziest ride I have ever been on with friends.

It’s not my photo, but a friend’s and I am in it. Our first trip of the year to Vallåsen Bike park. What a day. Nice to be out there with good friends and do the thing you love. Ending the evening with a few beers. What a weekend, can’t wait until the next one.

And it makes one long back to Austria, where there was more flow, longer runs and bigger stuff to ride on.

Out with Da Boyz. Getting dirty and wet in the local mud. Testing the limits a bit of what one (at this age) can do on a mountainbike. Followed by food and drinks at G-man’s place. Such a nice way to spend a day in good company.

OK, there is a tiny risk he might just drop off the edge and land on top of Mr P, but we’re boys. Pretending to be 25 and having a laugh out there. That keeps us young!

Another one from the Austria days. Blues skies, big mountians, good friends, loads of time. What else can you ask for?

The jinxed bike

Went out for a ride with the boys. Some proper MTB again to get the feeling again for Saturday’s race after all those months on a road bike. It was loads of fun.

And of course somebody had to start talking about how good his bike is. Still… after all those years. That means you are jinxing the bike:

And eventually himself as well:
